Drs. Hart and Wells have a special interest and focus on using models of the teeth mounted on a device called an articulator, so that we can achieve the best possible balance of the teeth and bite with the muscles and jaw joints. This approach is used in only a small percentage of orthodontic offices in the United States on all active patients and has been proven to be an effective method of achieving quality and excellence in the finished bite results.
Our goal is to help you become as healthy as you choose. This is a major and radical departure from the way we were trained. Instead of telling you how healthy you should be, we try to help you understand your choices about dental and orthodontic health and then let you make a free and informed choice.
Excellence in orthodontics begins with a careful and accurate diagnosis and with the development of a master plan to move us toward the health goals we will establish together. You have unique dental needs, and we will analyze and address them candidly and objectively. We will identify and carefully consider your feelings and preferences.
During your initial examination and follow-up visits, Drs. Hart and Wells will personally consult with you to discuss at length the areas that you are concerned about and options to consider for treatment.
